Just read a letter from the ticket office, and for some reason they are telling us that Morecombe was our first game we've watched at roots hall... even though we was season ticket holders. In the letter it states:

'I am writing to you to thank you for taking advantage of the recent Footy for a Fiver promotion and attending the match against Morecombe.

Your customer record indicates that this was your first ever at Roots Hall. We hope you had a good time and that you might be considering coming to future fixture.

As a thank you we would like to offer you the chance to attend our next home game against Torquay United on Saturday 22nd October for the special price of just £10 (normally £19) per ticket.

This offer is only being extended to you as a first time visitor to Roots Hall and is only valid for this coming Saturday versus Torquay.

If you would like to redeem this off please call the ticket hotline or pop into the Blues Box Office.'

It says that you should bring the letter with you when collecting tickets... but should pull in a few more people who went to the Morecombe game...

Thats a good gesture to my mind .. however if you are previous season ticket holders its quite shameful that your supporter history has been lost

I got one of these letters through the post, but only arrived Friday afternoon so a bit short notice to try and get out of work Saturday unfortunately. A nice gesture all the same, well done SUFC.

I just noticed I too have received a letter with the £10 offer... so guess where i will be this afternoon....

Come on you blues!!!
