While a certain chairman is in situ no voluntary help from me, taking his £300k consultancy fee out of the coffers or whatever it is, and loading us up with unpaid rent debt, so it counts as debt to him on the books, and he can take it tax free rather than pay tax on it at the end.

No thanks. I observed at close quarters how it works behind the scenes when I found the Adam Barrett flag (that had previously been lost for five years) and despite the club agreeing that this could be displayed on the wall at the back of W Block, the night before I was going to the ground to attach this, I received an e mail to say that “this did not fit in with the new era that they were looking to move towards” though this rather pitiful excuse later changed to “it being a fire hazard” - even though they actually have a copy of the fire safety certificate that came with it.

Any efforts or help will just be thrown back in your face by the club and (as they say on Dragons Den) “for that reason, I’m out”

At one level, on the face of it, I can but feel sorry for Ron, given the nature of his personality I can only imagine some of his less fortunate tendencies, may have been afflicted upon him at some point during his early development, Its hard to imagine a really happy and contented child ending up like Ron, but you never know.

I dislike littering and seeing the super efforts by the Japanese fans at cleaning the stadium after their games has made me lean positively towards any similar initiative at the Hall. If it got sanctioned I would be okay at committing some time after games doing a small task to help out.

Japan is a very proud nation and from a early age this is how they are brought up!
