It's that time again, when we face an away draw against Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs.

Venue
Court 15 in the Rolls Building at the High Court

Referee
The referee for tomorrows encounter is the Chief Bankruptcy Registrar himself, Dr. Stephen Baister. Dr. Baister is President of the Institute of Credit Management and was appointed as Chief Registrar in 2004 having been a registrar since 1996.

The Opposition
A tough opposition but one we're familiar with having faced them a number of times in recent years. Our last match against them on 7 April 2015 produced a win for Southend and to date, although there have been a number of score draws we haven't lost yet.

Verdict
Should be an away win, but the referee may ask some difficult questions.

Not forgetting that the players wages ie the defence team will demand top dollar remuneration for their services again.

This is a bit like the JPT thread. Done it before, lost interest in any more. I'm sure Ron's on the case, expect the obligatory club statement about it being a fuss over nothing, it will be settled etc.

I must say, im unsure about our defence, esp if RM says trust me, i would rather trust Richard Nixon on a bad day.

Expecting the case to be dismissed. Also hearing on the grapevine that some FF news may be imparted this week. :whistling:

Lost interest in it now, to be honest. We're struggling to fill Roots Hall at the moment...

So worn down by the the smoke screens around FF and the lies and the constant delays that any 'posititve' announcement will be taken with a pinch of salt.

Hmm.

Well unless they have sorted out the S106 agreement with SBC and submitted new plans (Which wasn't the case this time last week) any "announcement" is irrelevant.

Unless it is under a cloak of invisibility, which they are going to remove revealing a fully complete stadium then it means nothing.

Especially when we're only given a teaser/rumour at the same time as another hearing. Coincidence? Probably not.

So what was the result in the end?

Seems strange that our normal sources have nothing to report. Not like a few years back when we used to have running commentaries from our investigators straight from the court.

I am assuming we have paid our bill and we still have a team to support. (Until someone says differently)
