This was played at "The Stadium"; now the greyhound estate on Sutton road.
Attendance was 22,000. We lost at home 1-2 to Sheff utd in the 5th round.

Love the fact that the players could literally push the goalkeepers in those days. Would have been a few red cards given in that clip nowadays. How times have changed!

Plenty of women in that crowd too, thought it was generally seen as a bloke thing to do in the 50s...going along to football matches!

Tough luck? That was the worst challenge I think I've ever seen! Football really has changed...
