Swansea 1 2

Norwich 1 3

Wigan 1 Non League

QPR 1 3

Reading 1 3

Peterborough 2 4

Millwall 2 4

Crystal Palace 2 4

Watford 2 3

Doncaster 3 4

Leyton Orient 3 2

Yeovil 3 Non League

MK Dons (Wimbledon) 3 Non League

Crawley 3 Non League

Stevenage 3 Non League

Wycombe 4 Non League

Morecambe 4 Non League

Burton 4 Non League

Fleetwood 4 Non League

AFC Wimbledon 4 Not Formed

Barnet 4 Non League

Other notables:

Luton Non League 1

Lincoln Non League 2

Teams formerley in Div 3/4 in 60/61 now non league:

Workington, Southport, Gateshead, Stockport, Chester, Bradford Park Avenue, Darlington, Barrow, Newport County, Grimsby, Halifax, Mansfield.

So in 50 years when you look at us, apart from 2 flirtations with the "2nd" Division, we are in a lower league.

With our catchment area, why are we not up there punching with those who have overtaken us ?

Frustrating to say the least !

and how many have gone to the wall?

Yep - I started supporting this club 47 years ago. We're lower in the league now than then. Progress, eh?

I agree with the punching. I think we should kick s**t out of those who have overtaken us !!!

With it taking only a few years to move from top to bottom such lists are going to be very transient. If you'd have looked at, say, 94/5 you'd have seen that we were actually above 5 teams who are now in the Premiership (in some cases two divisions above), above two teams who will be in it next year and another one who might be in it next year.

Why are we not up there? Simple, we have not had the players, the manager or a board of directors of sufficient quality to get us there. I'm afraid I don't see that changing any time soon.

I agree but where are we now - back in the 4th Division !
