Hello all you fellow Zoners out there,
My Wife, Kids, and I are running a 5K fun run dressed as superheroes this Sunday at Regents Park.
It's in aid of The Brompton Fountain Charity, of which all donations go to the Royal Brompton Heart and Lung hospital in Chelsea.
This hospital saved my eldest son's life when we was only a few days old, and now he's 7 and his favourite Blues player is Daniel Bentley.
He was born with a condition called critical pulmonary stenosis. Basically he had to undergo surgery at just 36 hours old to increase the size of his pulmonary heart valve.
He's still on yearly check up's but he's like any other normal 7 year old. One day he may have to have more surgery.
We're so eternally thankful for what they did, and this run is to give a little back, and to help them in all the work they do.
Please give whatever you can, no matter how little.
Thanks very much,
UTB!
