2016 Season

They won.

Loving the new season, Watched 3 games already and finding it more enjoyable than soccer at moment, which isnt too surprising I guess.

Same here. So as not to hog the telly at home, on a Sunday I'll usually pick one game to watch live. Given the choice between PIT/CIN and the two Prem games on Sky, it wasn't even close.

Great gambling sport too. And I do love a bet.

Even if they'd managed to get his knee down the officials wouldn't have given it.

I was on PIT -3. I need to remember this game next time the officials do me out of my money because they did the Steelers, and my bet365 balance, some enormous favours last night.

Given the history between these two sides, a pleasingly ******** free game at least. Two good teams who just got on with the game and left all the niggly nonsense behind. Maybe Vontaze Burfict being suspended helped that...

Kirk Cousins showing that GMSM was shrewder than we thought in not offering him a big contract. Going to be a long hard season.

Fantastic day out at Wembley yesterday with the kids. Exciting game, good seats (handily close to bars and loos), plenty of great entertainment alongside as well. Win for the Jags too, which was welcome.

Only two downsides...

1) Robin Thicke was the pre-game musical act
2) The queues at Wembley Central were insane. It was as if a crowd of over 83,000 in the big stadium a mile down the road had come as a surprise to the people at TfL and London Midland.

Another crazy day yesterday. Odell goes nuts (in a good way), the Cowboys look worryingly legit, Shady McCoy destroys Kaep's comeback and that Saints/Panthers game....

Really looking forward to Twickenham on Sunday. I went to Uni not far away but I've never been a big rugby fan so I've never had the chance to get to there before.

I assume the best way to get there is Overground from Waterloo?

Yes, it's not a long walk from Twickenham station. That said, it is going to be rammed; I'd be inclined to start in Richmond and walk from there, taking in a pub or four on the way.

Agree - another great day of action yesterday. Pleased to see losses for the Colts and Rams, less happy that my Bears managed to lose at home to the London Jaguars. Not least as that meant losing a bet with my son - I now have to tidy his room. Disgrace.

So Rexit at Buffalo following the Miami defeat. WSe go 3 ahead with 1.06 left. they break a long run - we only have 10 men on the field which didn't help. 28 coaches on this team and they don't have one to count the players.
Miami make a couple more plays but don't get out of bounds and have no timeouts left. About 20 seconds left and they still manage to get their field goal team on. We still have our 3rd down D on the pitch and although we have three time outs left Rex doesn't manage to call one ion time. Their kicker hits a 53 yarder - a career long for him. We get the ball back with 6 seconds left.

Do we try a breakout run - currently ranked no 1 in rushing in the league - or maybe go for a hail mary and try and win it? Nope - we take a knee and run the clock out. Absolutely pathetic..

Overtime - Buffalo with a 3rd and 9 pushing for a game winning TD .OK lets give it to Reggie Bush for his first touch of the game. Another rubbish decision. Still leaves us with a 45 yard FG which carpenter misses but that shouldn't be a surprise as he already missed one from the same distance earlier in the game. Needless to say Miami take over and kick the winner.

When Rex joined, Buffalo had something like the 4th best defence in the league and he is supposed to be a defense specialist. So why not bring in your brother - another defence specialist and make things worse. Average points scored is 25 per game which should win most games so the Offence is ok and played a large chunk of the season with key receivers injured. Rex and Rob messed up the D. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Rob Ryan has always been a poor defensive co-ordinator he makes Ken Norton look like a genius

I was about to have a nap thinking kick off is 1.30am here but apparently it is two hours before then so hardly seems worth it.

I'm picking New England (booo) but my bets are as follows:
Dion Lewis to have a rushing and receiving first down @ 16/5
3 different RBs or FBs to score TDs @ 5/6
Falcons to win by 14+ points @ 8/1
Devonte Freeman to score the first TD @ 8/1

Go Falcons!

Not seen the Pats drop so many passes as this.
Way behind but you just cant write Brady off.

you still with it Beefy? Unbelievable.

When I realised I wasn't winning the 14pts I lumped all the profit on New England so I'm ok money-wise but I[m still annoyed. What a game, what a sport but evil should never triumph over good. Eli Manning is the only man who can ever save us.
