Trying to replicate our current tactics on FM21 Touch. how do you think we line up?

My take is as below -

GK - Defend

RCB - CD Defend

CCB - CD Cover

LCB - CD Defend

RM - Defensive Winger - Support

RCM - Ball-Winning Midfielder - Defend

LCM - Central Midfielder - Support

LM - Defensive Winger - Support

RST - Pressing Forward - Attack

CST - Target Man - Support

LST - Pressing Forward - Attack


Mentality - Positive

In Possession - Hit Early Crosses, Be More Disciplined, Overlap Left, Overlap Right, Wide

In Transition - Take Long Kicks, Distribute Quickly, Counter, Regroup

Out of Possesion - Prevent Short GK Distribution

Would love to hear anyone else's view...

Looks a good stab at it. Main thing I notice is that our RCB/LCB overlap all of the time so can't be set to Defend. Whether it's possible to setup overlapping CBs in FM, I'm not sure.

Yes, that’s the problem I’ve noticed. I think on FM22 they’ve included Wide CB’s so maybe that solves the issue.

Yes, the Wide CB role on 22 is really needed to emulate the formation.

Echo the above - wide centre backs on FM22 would replicate what Ralph and Hobson do quite nicely.

I think Hobson would be playing in the Wide Centre back role on the right side of the defence.

Edit: I think Ralph does too, but in FM it would be way too risky to put 2 WCB in a team lol.
