We all know we have a problem finding someone to play up front . We also know that we have players who can break from midfield and score goals .We definitely know that our defence needs shoring up . And we are not very good at retaining the ball thesedays.

So how about playing King Kev in a predominantly defensive role between the back 4 and the midfield ? It sounded last night that the opposition just ran through our defence on a couple of occasions . KK would help stop this and could distribute the ball from the back much better than Clarke , Barratt and indeed either of our goalies .

still won't win the headers and most of the problems seem to be coming from a direct style of play which means the pressure is always on our defence.. i'm not too sure what kev would do to help. i think we need richards in and barrett out IMO

One of the main problems is that once we clear the ball we don't retain it and surprise surprise it comes back again . People will say we risk playing too deep but without a forward line who can keep the opposition under pressure we end up playing deep anyway
