Hope everyone enjoyed this. Would loved to have taken part but it would have meant leaving home at 6:30 am for a home game.

Firstly, what a fantastic morning that was. Amazing to see so many Shrimpers taking part in something I thought up at work, and thought I’d be lucky to get 10 people.

We had runners taking part, all raising money for a fantastic cause.

I tried to get round and say hello to everyone and run with different people too, and I’m so sorry if I didn’t manage to catch up with you.

Hopefully I’ll be able to put on another one later in the season.

Brilliant to have Justin Rees, Kevin Maher, Darren Currie, Mark Bentley, Stef Russo & John White there along with Adam Duffill & Chris Phillips. I know match days must be so busy, so a massive thank you to them. I don’t think anybody left without a picture with them. I’m sure you’ll all agree what great blokes they all are.

Thank you to everyone on here that came along too, it was great to put some names to faces, and good to see @Cricko too. Definitely not as old as some people make out.

At what other club could you get the chairman, head coach, assistant head coach, first team coach, lead sports scientist and a former captain running round the perimeter of the pitch on the morning of a match organised by a fan.

Also, I love the fact that Justin ran in a replica shirt as well.
