In a couple of Sundays time, for the first time ever, I am going to have an Essex post code. I'm leaning towards traditional Japanese hara kiri, but any alternative suggestions of ways to top myself would be much appreciated.

Booo.

Keep the Leyton people out of Essex! ;)

A dark day indeed for the county of Essex

Reminds me of the quote from the then New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Robert Muldoon: “New Zealanders who leave for Australia raise the IQ of both countries.”

Except of course, in this instance it's the other way round.

You told me you was looking forward to it, Jonny?! ;)

This may be really sad but after being in Scotland and away from Essex for the last 7 years i can not wait to move back.....hopefully end of this year if all plans go through.

My Missus is applying for a senoir position with a Premiership Football Club....so here's hoping
