A few weeks ago as we set out the placards on the West Stand seats prior to the Colchester game, I had the opportunity to take some interesting shots of any empty Roots Hall. When you look at it in black and white, some of the real character of the place starts to come through.

There's a certain drama to Roots Hall that we'll never see in our new home and, as I found when I had the chance to explore a little, there's a great number of unique details and hidden features about the place too.

Great photos. I think Black and White pictures are very atmospheric, and you're right, they're very suitable for our ground.

He borrowed my Fuji Finepix A510 Turbo-Thruster with added Flange capabilities ----- whatever that means.

Ahhh right, I have a Olympus E-410 Digital SLR if you ever need anymore pics taken.
