Absolute Radio DJ Andy Bush has recently moved to south Essex and, despite being an Everton fan, decided to watch us on Saturday.

On his show this morning, he talked about the game and talked about maybe sponsoring a player. Good to see the club getting noticed in the wider media for once and in a positive light.

On a serious note, it'll be interesting what he thought of our performance.

Often a neutral, so to speak, will see things a lot differently to hardened people who attend regularly and maybe look at finding more fault than there is.

For a start, he sounds like he really enjoyed the match.

He did seem to enjoy the experience and said he'd like to go back. Helps that Everton are an absolute state at the minute

When talking on the radio this morning, he said he didn't catch who scored our goal. That prompted my two to shout SIMON COX very loudly at the radio!

Sounds like he is converted!:cool:

Good on yer children, as well. They're learning fast!

Which absolute radio show? We have absolute 80's on in the office, and I must of missed it.

This was Breakfast. Normally Christian O'Connell of course, but he's off this week.

Come to think of it, Andy Bush was on the radio when we were driving back from the game on Saturday (about 7pm by the time we left Southend). Must have had to make a quick getaway from the game (assuming he stayed until FT).

Probably just sent an intern to the match.

I heard this on Absolute Radio on the commute in this morning. It did sound like he genuinely enjoyed it. Wasn't too sure though when they were talking about a player to sponsor then proceeded to bring up Anton Ferdinand's name! :stunned:
