Official Match Thread Accrington Stanley v Southend United

Well done! That's a monkey off their backs. Is Sol allowed to shop at Harrods now?

Get the **** in. What a relief that is.
We’re going down, but we need to show some fight in preparation for next year, we’re doing that now.

Still unbeaten in 2020 you say? Yep, it's true.

It’s a first win under Sol Campbell and a BIG three points!

Blues have won their first League game since September.

Well done Shrimpers

Poor squad weakened by releases and injuries. Dressing room intrigue. 2020 form is pretty impressive in the circumstances. Well done Sol and team.

Well without seeing the match I think its hard to say we haven't made progress. Teams used to line up against us expecting to win and most likely with 3 or 4 goals. We've now got a win following 7 games with 5 draws and whilst not form to keep us up, it's something to build on and see how close we can come and take a bit of form into next season. It might also persuade Ron to spend a bit in the belief that we could just close the gap.
