Clifford has looked much better than Atkinson during pre-season so I'm glad PB has made the team selection based on their form.

I only saw one pre-season and Clifford was atrocious, but I don't read much into pre-season.

That midfield three looks like very vulnerable with only Leonard competent defensively.

They've named Weston amongst the forwards but I agree that XI makes more sense as a 4-4-2.

Has to be 4-4-2 otherwise playing three in the middle means Hurst playing in there, if he was gonna play three centrally then Atkinson would start.

New season and fresh start for Clifford, I'm not a fan but hope he proves me wrong.
