I sat watching goals on the sunday this morning and the player of the month candidates were listed for each divison. Bywater of West Ham was nominated for three clean sheet, at which point I began to moan and groan about how Southend are always overlooked by Sky, BBC etc etc saying how Flahavan has undoubtedly been the player of the month in February for league 2 for exactly the same as Bywater in the Championship. I was amazed when Barrett was then named as one of three candidates for div 2!! Finally one of our team has been given some credit for their performance this season. Still think Darryl should have been nominated for saves at Cobblers and Scunny alone!! Well done Adam!
