Adult film in London hospital?

Why is there an empty ward for them to film the movie? That's what I don't understand. If it's a hospital, shouldn't every bed be in use?

Could be a day ward?

When I had my foot done a few weeks ago ward was totally shut down and empty by 9pm - didn't reopen till 8am
