Essex of course!
OK I'm 63, reasonably fit, 1m80, 73kg so not exactly a body builder. I go to the gym about 4 times a week, I lift/pull about 20 tonnes a week. What's the best after-workout stuff to eat? Takes about 10 minutes to get home. Thanks.

Depends on your goals? What are you trying to achieve?

Just a general tone-up and add a little more muscle definition. Vanity mainly! I'll never have a body builder's frame, can't make a gourmet meal out of a limp lettuce!

Just use somebody else's physique photo on your Tinder/Grindr profile pic. :Winking2::Whistling:

You can make up your food before you go, if you cant wait to long after.

Back in the day when I would train hard, sometimes twice a day which was mainly aerobic. I would knock up a big salad size bowl of fresh pasta and a couple of tins of tuna or chicken and pad it out with salad stuff. I would eat that in 3 settings throughout the day.

Not every day of course, you can still treat yourself but it certainly burnt the fat off me.

If you are unsure of eating something then wipe it on a piece of paper.

If the paper turns clear then it's your window to weight gain.

I try to go gym about 4-5 times a week depending on the situation at work. I have 2 eggs with a tin of tuna in the morning. then after the gym I'll have a ham, chicken and cheese sandwich I do at home. Probably isn't the best thing but I do 'high' intensity interval training so it's all about getting the heart rate up and keeping it up (phrasing) so i'm all about the protein.
