Phillips was/still is for Braintree an excellent player whose career was derailed by injuries.

But seeing as you have of course attended every game I've ever been to, and know my own mind for me, I'm sure you know best.

The poor barstewards only being in the play offs.

If only they had signed Connor Essam instead of Mark P they would surely have been promoted automatically.......and all those huge crowds as well.

I think most people recognised that he wasn't quite at the level required and wasn't going to get guaranteed minutes. His size didn't help and he clearly needed to drop down to play more football and develop. Fortunately that's been the case, but that doesn't mean he was rubbish, or we made the wrong decision in letting him go.

I did. That six years later he's had a good season, albeit two divisions below where we are, doesn't change that.

Well, here's a tip for Danny and the Lincoln people ............. get rid of the brick walls off the pitch and your football will improve immensely.


Although thinking about it, that wall would be useful for playing Wembley ............
