Just read about this story where some kids have paid for trainers over the net, only for them not to recieve them. In a nutshell, the kids who were ripped off completely ruined this guys life... Because of the payments, they knew his name, address and phone number.

So far they have

- Signed him up for a 3 year subscription to a gay magazine
- Sent free tampons to his house
- Signed him up for all kinds of Gay Porn websites
- Ordered $120 worth of pizza to his house
- Got him fired from his job
- Reported him as an illegal immigrant who sells weed to kids
- Sent people to his house looking to buy Xbox's

and, to really kick him when he's down:

- Contacted the Army saying he wanted to join but some recruiters would have to come and visit him.

Just a tad on the severe side for a pair of trainers...

harsh.. but in the end he ripped them off!

Only bit thats wrong is losing him is job which is a bit OTT. However, as for the rest....what a shame...

Any one want to buy some brand New Trainers????

Only if they're mint condition Bjorn Borg Diadora's size 11 (white/gold)

WOW...that is exactly what they are.....send cash in an envelope to a PO Box and you will receive them :)

Honest Guv

I appear to be alone in being appalled at both the extent of the online bullying (mainly by kids who have not got the balls to admit that they were so gullible (or greedy) they got ripped off by someone barely older than themselves) and to the extent of support they are getting.

Jeez, lets ruin everyones life who shows us up as being foolish and while we are at it complete ignore the correct judicial process

Wow......

shot of Highland Park over here

I don't drink Scotch but if I did I feel that would be my brand of choice!

I tell you what...I don’t drink it much, but that truly is the best, I used to have them as a supplier and went up to the distillery on Shetland....what a fantastic place...well worth a visit

Having worked for 4 years for Scotland's biggest drinks company I am somewhat "brainwashed" into having loyalty for certain brands, however as I said everything about Highland Park just seems spot on (a friend of mine, actually was part of the design team for the rebranding off the bottles/boxes a couple of years back).

One thing I do miss now I'm out of the industry is being able to source bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label for £25 (when It's usually £100 more than that even in duty-free!) Always handy for presents for birthdays/Xmas! :p

I spend over 750K with Carlsberg a year....you would not believe the tempters they send us, including tickets for certain Carlsberg Sponsored teams, always turn them down though....conflict of interest and all that

I'm fairly close behind you but maybe not appalled. If someone sold you a dodgy playstation controller or queer giraffe at school (been watching Gladiator) then you probably wouldn't call the police but try and get one over them. This is much the same but a much more extreme level. The pizza thing could have been enough, the subscription could have been a funny comeback but they just went too far.

Better than what happened to Scott Tenneman
