When , by around Weds 7th Jan, all the excitement and amazement of the 1-1 at Chelsea has subsided a tad, think on this:...Was this our greatest ever result?
The obvious comparison will be against Man Utd at home, but I'll say todays outcome was superior because:

Chelsea's home form is so very formidable
They are stronger that the Red Devils we faced just over 2 years ago
Our team is weaker nowadays than on that memorable Nov evening

What we can take from this, along with the bonus revenue, is some belief that Tilly can now kick start our league season, and a big dollop of kudos too

Well done lads

UTB!!

Maybe, but look at the Liverpool team we faced in 1979, I realise we were at home but when you look at the team they put out, I wonder?

It probably wasn't a great performance from us today........but it was a deeply courageous one. In fact, probably the most courageous performance in our 100+ year history.

Good shout, but we WERE AT Home and the snow covered pitch was a real leveller...Today was our finest hour, at least FA Cup wise I reckon!
