Question Andre Blackman

In nearly 40 years of watching the Blues I can’t recall seeing such a poor defender, who is totally of his depth as Andre Blackman, up there with the worst (sorry if that’s harsh...)

Anyone recall worse?

He literally had no clue what he was supposed to be doing today. Never marked a man, never got into a decent defensive position. I hope never puts a Southend shirt on again. It didn't help having either Macca or Hutch in front of him. Hutch is weak defensively and with Macca, at one point Blackman was trying to mark a man, Macca let a man run past him and told Blackman to mark him as well.

We looked so much better once Demi came on at RB and Bwomono moved to LB.

Turns out signing someone who was released by a National League club last year and has never spent more than one season at one club was a bad idea...

I liked Sankofa too, another one was Anthony Straker who got a lot of stick I liked him too.

Andre Blackman is Kevin Bond's legacy to the blues. I'm not sure what the terms of the "multiplicity" contract are, but can't believe Tom Clifford would be as bad as Blackman was today.

Lost count of the number of times he was out of position today, and he's completely incapable of chasing back - at one point in the second half Humphrys ran past him to make a tackle in the left back area.

He is absolutely shocking and I hope to never see him in a blue (or yellow!) shirt again
