Or should we rename this to the FF and Flahavan/Griemnik debate and move all of the rolling, monotonous, pointless, frustrating debates off the main board?

I am composing a letter to Channel 4 and the makers of Grand Designs, this must sureley be one of the most frustrating drawn out developments since Napolean first had a go at digging the channel tunnel

I was watching Grand Designs yesterday, which was interesting (and relevant to this post, so bear with me!). A British couple had decided to build a purpose built home on the plot of their old house. They spoke to a bunch of Germans, who design purpose built 'prefabricated buildings' and they had one shipped from Germany to England. When it arrived, a gang of 5 or 6 German's arrived with it to erect the building.

It looked like a huge operation, but took just 4 days. When it was looking like there would be a delay at the start (due to the late arrival of the crane), the supervisor got two more Germans on a plane to arrive the following morning, to make up for lost time once the crane arrived...

The British crane driver was delayed by five hours, due to the fact that the crane driver was given the right time, but the wrong location by his office!

So, is there a moral of this story?

I leave you to form your own conclusions...
