I found many references to a Monk called John main (who died in 1989) but little , other than the ousting at SUFC of "our one" IIRC at the time he was senior management at Martin Dawn , but I can't imagine he lasted there much longer.
Didn't his wife design one of the kits once (Pier sports ?) I seem to remember the club crest changing around that time too and something about trying to copyright it for herself and an attempt being made to stop the club using it after John was sacked

And Indeed are still around today I beleive. I presume they must have found the money to pay whichever was seeking their winding up...
