Just about any recovery company would snap you up but I suggest you only do that as an last resort. If you are living up in Bury then give Turners of Soham a bell, they might be looking for drivers. Also try Maritime in Tilbury Docks. He is really good at taking on and pays reasonably well.

I think Maritime may also help in and around Felixstowe. But as Grouty says the blokes in Tilbury are pretty good.

Funny you should mention them. The first time I noticed any of their lorries was around the time Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were murdered. Since then I don't think I've been on a motorway/long journey without seeing at least one of their lorries. It turns out, they are a huge, family run business.
