Just watched the highlights and one thing I noticed was the sending off for Senderos, fair enough he was last man and made contact with Kanu and deserved to go. What I dont get is why James was still on the pitch after bringing down Van Persie, surely he beats James he will score, so why no sending off?

That didnt occur to me when I watched the highlights, but a good point. On the first look though, I though Kanu looked offside before Senderos got back to make the challenge. If Kanu is onside then fair enough, its a red card, but if he's off then maybe Arsenal could feel hard done by.

Fabregas looked class though, great player.

Is it anything to do with a penalty being suitable compensation?
I thought the ref overall had a decent game but he did make a mistake with that inconsistency.
