Echo News Arsenal's James Olayinka feels loan switch to Southend United will be of huge benefit

My friend is a Northampton supporter. This is what he has just emailed me:

"I see Shrimpers have signed Olayinka from Arsenal on loan. We had him last season and I think he’ll be a good addition for you —he’s only young but he’s combative and skilful….."

That DOES sound what we need. Welcome to the Hall James. Please help us.

Only one league appearance for Northampton and 1 + 1 as sub in the playoffs is surely insufficient to make a judgement, but obviously very inexperienced. It would be a real bonus if it turns out well and let us hope it does, but yet another raw recruit from the rarified Premier league under 21s is hardly what we need to compete in this league and sustain a battle against relegation. In our position we have to be realistic but surely there are a few battle hardened, mature, non crock footballers proven at this level currently without a contract who could do a job for us.

Just what we needed, someone who will let him play a few games before judging him... Oh wait...
Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of him coming back, not because he’s crap.. but we’ve seen it before, injures, loss of form, another ex player falling from grace... oh wait

Your weren't talking about Macca though, you were talking about James Olayinka
