Despite more snow this week, The game against Tranmere Rovers looks set to go ahead. Southend have had a two week break due the postponements of games against Scunthorpe United and Swindon Town. Southend will be boosted by the return to fitness of striker Francis Laurent who has been out for 5 weeks with an ankle injury.
