Since I put on the last Azureus update, I've noticed the performance of downloads has dropped dramatically when I am downloading torrents.

Does anybody use Azureus and can you help me configure it back to a quick level of performance? I am getting most of my original torrent details from IsoHunt!

Thanks in advance!

It might not be the update that's caused the problem - it could be the ISP and the fact that you've only just noticed the difference is a sheer coincidence..

Many ISPs these days are 'traffic shaping' inordered retain some kinda of decent service for those who just want to use email and surf the net.

My ISP (www.plus.net) do this traffic shaping malarky, but between midnight and 4pm most restictions are lifted, then come 4pm-midnight the restrictions come back in place.

Have a look at newsgroups for downloading purposes. There's a thread recently about this or check out http://www.slyck.com/ng.php for more info.. There's no sharing (like torrents and Limewire) and what you download seems to arrive very, very quickly. Full DVD ISO images come down in just over 1 hr...

Hope that helps
