10 day juice fast before the Xmas period. Last year I lost 2 stone in 15 days and haven't put it back on! Now to get the last bits off.

Anyone else done juicing? Worked wonders for me.

Is this same regime that worked for fbm? I tried it for 6 weeks and lost 8lbs, did feel a lot better but found it all too acidic in the long run, which just doesn't agree with me.

15 days with nothing but juice, you'd be knackered wouldn't you?
looked at one the other day which was an awful lot of grapefruit and eggs but haven't braved it yet.
Have taken up badminton again though so at least I feel that I've earned my beer.

You'd poop through the eye of a needle I'd imagine. :stunned:

I did it in November last year with my missus after seeing FBM's post. I was v cynical. First five days, we had 2 juices and 2 light meals. (Mainly roast squash stuffed with mushroom). Juices were apple/carrot/ginger and the mean green (kale/apples/cucumber/celery/lemon/ginger). No milk, no alcohol. Only water and coconut water allowed. First few days were hard work. But then, I woke up refreshed and amazing. First seven days I lost a stone. It just came off. The days 5-15 we had 4 or 5 juices plus water and coconut water and black coffee. Day 15 we went back to eating normally and never put it back on over the last year. I was 213 pounds in November 2013. Now I'm 176 and falling. I never went back over 180 the entire 2014.

I've never heard of grapefruit/eggs. Check out Joe Cross - website is amazing inspiration. I can understand how some might find it hard work - oh, and the mean green juices are more alkali than acid.

Wow, well done. I was fine on the early stuff and I loved the green soup, it was when you introduced orange or lemon into things that I had an issue. It just never worked for me despite my best efforts.
