What the hell does this guy actually do apart from jetting around the world ,staying at top hotels whilst trousering £200,000.

He offers absoulatey nothing apart from his stating the obvious.

I've always thought that with a name like that he would have made a much better yoga teacher. Would have made it to Guru level easily.
 
Yeah, why not scrap the UN altogether, the pre-1945 system worked so much better.
 
Yeah but what does he actually do ?

Well he put lots of his countrymen in key positions in the UN, something they're not meant to do, as the UN is meant to be seen to be above that sort of thing, but he of course said they got the posts on merit, Lol. In South Korea he was nicknamed the slippery eel for his ability to avoid answering awkward questions. What does he do? Well he does his Secretary General job, but he's a bit dodgy. For example, It was only after he was appointed that they found out that he had lied, and he couldn't speak French. Anyone that holds that post must speak English and French. After complaints from French Diplomats, he started taking French lessons.

Yep. That comes with the job. Very nice work if you can get it. By the way, they had some sort of poll to place on merit the best Secretary General's since the UN started. He came joint last.
