What do people think of Barack Obama now? Before and after he got elected I told everyone he would be the worst thing ever to happen to America and it seems as though I am right.

His Health Care reform is going to bankrupt the US (please all remember just how much Britain and the world needs a strong America), he's appeal is lower than George " the main man" Dub Ya.

Just a thought......................................................what a Joker!!!

That's an awful poster - IF Obama is a socialist why didn't they mock him up as Che Guevara or an actual socialist rather than the Joker. Or they could have subtitled it 'Nihilist', being closer to a description of the Joker I suppose.
Have to say I've not really taken any notice of what Obama's done as President or seen any polls putting his approval rating lower than Bush.

I spent two weeks in Canada last month and he is one unpopular dude. Trying to appeal to all and in the end appealing to no one. The sooner he's gone and a real politician with bottle takes over the better!!

The telephone poll of 1,006 adults, taken Friday through Sunday, has a margin of error of plus-or-minus four percentage points.

What's that? 0.000001% of American voters? Hardly a scientific study.

well you could have at least gone to America!

Going back to the polls on my link above, it's interesting (to me) to note that there were a lot more people responding with 'no opinion' 40 or so years ago. For example, in Richard Nixon's first poll 36% had no opinion, Obama had 11%. After 6 months, Nixon had 20% Obama just 4%.
Just shows the world's getting more polarised or more opinionated, I suppose, but it's only statistics.

Still better then the sperm of satan that was there before him. Give the bloke a chance he's only been in power 6 months, seems to be focusing on international relationships more which 12 months ago everyone in the world said was the real problem. I work in the US quite a bit and have quite a few friends there and most were willing to give the bloke a chance to sort out the ****, 6 months in my opinion isn't valid time to judge.

International relationships??? He is weak, will always be weak. We do not want a weak America. Another point is that GWB has done more for Africa in terms of Aid money than any other president or country.
As for Healthcare for all, America can not afford it. Yes the current system isn't working for people without money, but it should be insurance reform.. I.e. Nationalise insurance and means test what people pay! Easier, cheaper and fairer.

Since when has means testing been cheap and easy ?

Certainly every time means testing gets brought up over here the first thing which gets cited by opponents is the cost and the logistics

Weak ?? How so his caused more with words to help distabalise Iran then Bush/Rumsfled / and Donkey ever did with bullets . Plus he looks at alternatives , ways to make your enemy your friend or allie which tends to quickly destroy any wars

Yeah, health care available to all? What a stupid idea

Healthcare is available to all in the US. Most people have private health insurance (usually paid for by their employer) and there is a safety net for those that can't afford it. The only thing the current US system lacks is 4 hour waits in A&E. As someone who has lived in both countries, I know which system I prefer.

Obama wants to take the US into a system similar to the UK and Canada, and when you look at the streams of Canadians coming to the US for medical care, you have to wonder why he thinks this is so important. The obvious answer is that he wants to impose a socialist agenda in the US, and the electorate should have seen that coming when they bought into his 'change' nonsense. The healthcare bill, coupled with Cap & Trade and the horrendously wasteful stimulus package will bankrupt the USA, but on the plus side, it will destroy Obama.

George W Bush had enormously high approval numbers post 9/11 - what destroyed him was straying from key Republican principles (the bail-outs, open borders) so that even his base of support were unhappy as well as the granola-eating tree-hugging commie anti-war crowd.
