Echo News Barnet boss Darren Currie

Am I the only one who hasn’t got a clue what everyone is talking about? ?
It went from Darren Currie to the real reason HL didn’t come (which I still don’t know) to this.

Hi-Tec produced a trainer called Silver Shadow. It would appear they supplied all government uniformed jobs where PE was part of the day.... Military Firebrigade etc.

I think MM is bringing in his own trainer.

Dutch takeover, lead by the the man who owns Hi-Tec.
Thanks. The guy who is on our board?
I'll believe the takeover talk when I see it. I can't see that we're very appealing at the moment. Hopefully that changes, as the stadium progresses, we climb the leagues etc. We'll see

You sir are a hero! Bet your feet were destroyed.

Yes, was walking down the stairs backwards for 2 days!. But back then running shoes with adequate absorbtion were in their early days.
In 84, 2 months before running the Southend Marathon, i invested £42 on a pair of New Balance 'Chariots', which had a lot more tread & stability than poor old Hi Tec running shoes did.

What trainers do you wear now .

I've been wearing New Balance for many years now. They have thicker tread than some other brands ( wont mention any of them! ), & have different widths available which is beneficial to me, as they give more room for my insteps.
Also got a pair of Saucony ones, as they have great grip for when it's icy.
