Another of the traditions at the club is that when it's your birthday you have to bring in cream cakes for all the boys.

Last year Mark Bentley brought in the worst cakes ever, there weren't enough to be shared around and you had break them all in half to make sure everyone got a bite.

Ever since then he has taken a lot of stick and because of that we were expecting a much better performance from him this time around. His birthday was even on a Saturday this year so he had time to prepare and we were all looking forward to big things.

Sadly Benno again failed to come up trumps and came in with these three gateaux which were all still frozen and threatened to snap your teeth off.

The lads were all very disappointed and when Mark went back to his car at the end of training one of the gateaux had been splattered across his windscreen.

It was a courtesy car as well and there was chocolate smothered everywhere.

The only surprise was it didn't actually smash his windscreen and although I'm not one to grass, I think it was Spencer Prior!
