Battle of the books - Grand final

The BOTB final

  • Total voters
    30
  • Poll closed .
What a low turnout, the Battles don't quite attract the same kind of interest they used to
Books was always going to be pretty niche. I was putting up the decs at the weekend and thought to myself that a battle of the Christmas songs would be a good one.

John Bond, my mate from Primary school? We parted company around the early teenage years when he realised Bill Withers was black and stopped listening to him. I bet he votes UKIP these days

As for doing Bond films, won't be me. Can't stand the majority of them.

Tangled Up In Barna Blue has been strangely quiet over his trouncing I see :whistling:

Bill Withers votes UKIP? Blimey.

What happened to best looking F1 car of all time competition or isn't there enough interest, other than me and probably Ricey.

That's what you get when you hold a duck to close to the fire.

I was in Paris at the weekend (without a laptop,as we weren't playing).

If the good folk of SZ want to vote for juvenile trash rather than great literature -then so be it!

Nothing like being gracious in defeat is there....and this is nothing like it.

Most of this competition passed me by but I'm delighted that by coincidence my favourite book won.
