Have a guess....
All the squad either at Energetic or Sublime, so we pick a full-strength side today. Playing a side who surprisingly beat me earlier on in the season, but I'm after revenge today. I'm TIE, and I want to bowl 1st to try and preserve as much PFL as poss before next week's FC game.

Mrs BB resting her big guns - Mohammed, Potter and Eagles all miss out, so she'll get hammered.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Wootton

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this sunny day.

Excellent, now let's roll them over for next to nothing

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Resistance is Futile v DIBS DIPPERS

We can tell you that Resistance is Futile won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Could be quite a difficult match, playing the top team, who don't play FC games. They have a good batting line up with no fitness problems, and I've put out the best side I have, Barrowdale is bowling through and has 2 wickets already, Gamage, Plummer and Malik are the other bowlers.

Big appeal for LBW. It looked like he got an inside edge, but he's been given out! Oooh, he's not happy with that one!

327 run win. 193 no and 6-21 from Cooky was reasonably impressive! That makes it a double over their manager in HT and BT this week which is nice.

That means we're now promoted to III. Probably two seasons too late but at least we should be reasonably comfy when we get there. Richie should be Exceptional just after the start of the season and Lamo and Sandy will be on their way to greatness so our batting may not be as weak a link as some are expecting.

Now for the Xmas Day FC showdown.....

We're at the top of the IV promotion table, therefore I'm promoted too :D

I think you'll cope a lot better than I will, I wouldn't be surprised if you finish top 3 in whatever league you get.

I'll be going into next season with 1 exceptional batsman, a wonderful bat/exceptional bowl all-rounder and a wonderful for each bat and bowl. Hoping for a few dusty pitches next season, as my seamers will only be quality (until my new signing arrives, if he arrives!) The side averages about 2-3 levels more than it was last time in III, but then I'm sure other sides have had the same progression.

Longer batting line-up next season too. Will be interesting. The beauty of not promoting in FC is that I can go for it in the OD while finishing top 3-4 in FC easily.

For self congratulating purposes, hurrah for us!
