In 3 weeks time, I'm going to in exactly the same situation with Evelyn. I was going to stop him at Remarkable W/K, but it's only another £4k a week wages, and 10/11 weeks training, to take him to Wonderful, so it's something to think about. I need to get his Stamina up from Respectable though, so it's a bit of a balancing act really !

I know you won't want to hear it but I'd give him a stamina net instead. Remarkable should be agood enough.

Disappointed that Sandy hasn't popped in batting yet but I'm liking the early XP pop bearing in mind he's barely played. Should be decent captain material by the time he's god enough to replace Maymann. Suthers nears the end of his training, 2 more weeks left for bowling to pop I reckon (plus his stamina should pop next week as well).

a) I think he means the YP!
b) Why were you training that guy anyway?

:thump:

Where did you get the Proficient bit from:hilarious:

phew, i was just about to go on a rant about my lack of good YP's.... actually though, has anyone noticed that the base level of 0 ITS YP's seems to have gone up a bit? i was wondering if they snuck that in when FC came in to increase the supply of useful players. i may be talking crap of course, but i've had better ones this year than last. None worth keeping of course, but still.

Not that I've noticed. Mine were monumentally crap, although I had a couple of good ones last year. However, Mrs BB has pulled a couple of good ones - Comp / Respectable that's popped to Respectable / Prof in 4 weeks, and a Comp / Comp that should pop next week after 3 weeks training. So I think it's a bit swings and roundabouts, as always.

Absolutely gutting:

An attacking player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI

Battrick Rating: 3,030 (-223)
Wages: £788 p/w
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: worthless
Fielding: abysmal

This weeks 0 ITS trainee. Had it been a week later he would have had mediocre stamina and consistency and proficient bowling.

How much do you think he'll sell for?

Who knows, it depends if you can get 2 newbies with more money than sense involved in a bidding war.

As you say though, what a gutter !
