I know this is a sore point for MrB but was just wondering with the 1st class games being delayed what everyone thought was the top level of stamina needed for One day games. I have all of my team up to Mediocre with the exception of a new trainee and was wondering if I needed to continue I'm happy with that for the older memebers of my team but was wondering about for my 17/18 yos.

One new consideration of stamina is that it's been suggested that it will be the stat that will most affect older players deterioration (ie over time their stamina will detiorate to a level where they're ineffective no matter what their remaining skills are). Whilst that doesn't really affect anyone at the moment it's worth bearing in mind for the future value of your players.

I'd like to think that respectable is the minimum you should look for if you intend on keeping the player for a while.

That's what the article I saw said. Anyone anywhere near having their key players up to that? Other than MrB?

Sadly my levels aren't that great anymore as I've sold some of the players I had built up (which made that first season even more of a waste of time).

I currently have:
2 x strong
3 x respectable
1 x competent
5 x mediocre

Still pretty tidy though.

My first team are 8 x mediocore, 1 Feeble and 2 x Woeful

One of the woeful is being trained up as he's only 17. The other 2 under mediocore are 27 & 20 and I'm not bothering training them. I'll wait for better skilled youths to replace them and train their stamina if needed.

Generally though there really aren't enough training slots are there?!

May as well use this for YPs. Pulled a good one for a change

I've tried dusty with 2 spinners but they seem to be more effective on a green track to be honest
