Every time I've tuned in, they've given SUFC matches preference over Col******r ones. Have they finally realised which is the more appropriate?

On a more serious note, aren't they supposed to give them equal coverage?

Then again, I only want to tune in when we're away so possibly that's teh reason.

Unless they've had a change of policy this season, the way they've given equal coverage over the last few years is by always having the live commentary from whichever team is playing away, and on all frequencies.

But clearly, they could cover both teams by splitting the frequencies. Down here, for example, BBC Radio Solent provides live commentary for every single game played by Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth by sharing out the various frequencies between them.

So why can't BBC Essex do the same???

No they dont!

They cover EVERY (yes EVERY) West Ham game home and away on MW 765.

They cover every SUFC/Col U Away game usually on either or both FM frequencies (95.3 & 103.5) plus DAB Digital. Sometimes though oneor other FM frequency will be given up for an away Conf game.

What's the frequency for Essex on DAB, anyone know?
