Stories in the papers here say Melbourne Heart are the favourites to get him, but personally wouldnt it be great if he did sign for SOuthend , just think of the publicity SUFC would get and you can bet some multi millionaire would seriously consider buying the club too . I thought this was going to be a silly rumour linking Beckham with buying us! Wasn't he linked with buying Orient a while back? Either him or his advisor IIRC.
