Ben Foster Joins Wrexham

Foster won't have trained properly since his retirement, will he even have his sharpness back by the end of the season? My guess is that he's been signed so that he does some videos about Wrexham on his YouTube channel.

Proper kick in the teeth for thr current keeper. To get to the top you need to be ruthless
Their No.1 is out for probably the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.

But yes, them and Notts aren't messing around. Let's hope they both **** off and give the rest of us a chance.

Same applies to their no2 - his opportunity unless Foster just there to warm the bench?

Their Number 2 has actually played more games than their number 1 this season because it's the second bad injury he's had this season. The number 2 is a 36 year old so there's no development potential there, it'll probably come down to who is better in training.

Is the no2 still the guy who wasn't exactly backed in the Wrexham netflix programme?

Was that Christian Dibble? He left the club in January to join Kidderminster, the number 2 now was bought in from Carlisle in the summer.

And now retires, despite having signed a contract extension in the summer.

Conceding 13 goals in 4 games in League 2 probably didn't help, including 5 against Swindon at the weekend:
Does feel a bit harsh on Wrexham, surely they'll go and splash big cash on a 'keeper now? Can't see them being happy to go back to the guy who didn't convince them enough in NL.

Foster was initially signed because their first choice keeper suffered a season ending injury. Sounds like he might not be fully fit yet but I'd assume long term he'll go back to being their number 1.
