We lost 2-1. Shaun Goater scored for Bermuda in the first half to put them 1-0 up then in the 2nd half he scored again but for us this time and made it 1-1. Kwame Steede scored the winner from a "mix up" in the box.

The starting line ups were:

Bermuda - Timmy Figureido, Darius Cox, Devrae Tankard, Vernon Tankard, Domico Coddington, Logan Alexander, Kwame Steede, Taurean Manders, Keishen Bean, Stephen Astwood, Shaun Goater -

Southend United - Darryl Flahavan, Lewis Hunt, Adam Barrett, Che Wilson, Kevin Maher, Jay Smith, James Lawson, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Freddy Eastwood, Charles Ademeno, Carl Patten
