Best grounds you've been to?

Following on from the worst away ends thread - which grounds did you really love? Either an away day or visiting for another reason...
The Hall excepted of course.

Some of my favourites:
Signal Iduna Park - I think anyone who has been will know why
Philips Stadion in Eindhoven - really good all round vibes for a modern ground
Stade Louis II in Monaco - purely for the unique architecture as the atmosphere ain't great
Dartford's ground is really tidy
The Olympiastadion in Munich - despite the shallow rake and the athletics track I enjoy this more than the Alliance

Philips Stadium was certainly awesome. You could hear the stadium from a long way away and the sound system (as you would expect) was fantastic. The result clouded my memory!

I’d also forgotten about Craven Cottage. Not for the ground but for the good old days where you could watch the match from the trees behind the away end! It’s the only ground I’ve ever been ejected from. It was for ‘gesticulating in a mastabatory fashion’ after Donut (of all people) missed a sitter.

The Valley away end alway’s a great atmosphere when we are there and nice ground in the old style also Vicarage rd springs to mind shame about the team and it’s fans.

If you had ever sat in the home areas at Vicarage road you wouldn't say anything positive about the atmosphere! To be fair it's a lot better in the away end.

I was on about the away end and the stadium itself I didn’t mention positive atmosphere about their fans,to be quite honest anything to do with Watford supporters leaves me cold and uninterested.

I always had a soft spot for the old Roker Park. Partly because we had a great record there but also as a proper old school football ground.

Going to a few games here at Suncorp Stadium (well, Brisbane Stadium for FIFA purposes) during the Women’s World Cup has reminded me how good it is. Really nice modern stadium, not a bad seat in the place and stands close to the pitch so when it’s full the noise is amazing. On the ground itself it wouldn’t look out of place in the Premier League.

But location wise it’s really central and has more bars, pubs, micro-breweries surrounding it than you could manage to do if you visited one per match in a season.

Similar to the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff in that way.

In the late 50s went to the old Wembley for the first time and when I saw the turf it looked like a carpet! Absolutely stunning. True, it wasnt used very often but Id never seen any pitch look as good even at the start of a season. Portman Road pitch was very good at the end of the season when pitches were dust bowls way back then.
