We have done the best opening line of a song as a thread before, and IIRC there was also some national poll about it. But, what about the best concluding line?

My vote gies for:

"Even now, in my final hours, I am falling in love again" from Life is a Pigsty by Morrissey.

Not really the last line as such, but Eric Bogle's The Band Played Waltzing Matilda....

And the young people ask what are they marching for?
And I ask myself the same question.

Or Richard Thompson's 1952 Vincent Black Lightning....

And he gave her one last kiss and died
And he gave her his Vincent to ride

"Im still frightened by the telephone" - I die, You die - Gary Numan.

Didnt mean a lot and wasnt even on some versions of the song...

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss - The Who - Won't get fooled again...
