I was reading the Screwfix catalogue last night looking for Xmas presents and found myself wishing I had more power tools.

The best power tool I own is a De Walt cordless drill which I simply could not do without.

I often find myself nodding towards builder types with De Walt cases and massive spirit levels on the train and am considering buying a De Walt fleece for trips to Wickes etc.

With Christmas just around the corner would anyone like to drop any hints as to what presents they would like?

I have a 10.8 volt Bosch Screwdriver that is the absolute nuts ... there is a built in lamp that turns on whenever pressure is applied to the bit, 2 batteries (which last for ages) and snazzy carry case

They retail for about £100 i think but i got mine gratis from a rep .. nice ;)

Hey, maybe Numphgirls (Mrs AS) thoughts of Battle of the Tools could yet become a reality !!!!!

Best i have - 305mm Sliding Mitre Saw, use it a lot for cutting medium size logs for our fire place, goes through in seconds and with the 305mm clearance can cut some decent size logs

I would like - SDMO HX4000 3700W Generator, i do a lot of landscaping and have a 130 foot long back garden so this would come in very handy indeed

The Milwaukee power tools in the Screwfix catalogue are by far the most expensive.

Are we talking 'Happy days' or 'Joannie love Chachi'?
