With the impending visit of the farm handlers on Saturday, I'm curious to peoples thoughts on the best atmosphere you have experienced in a pub either pre or post a Southend game.

Personally for me walking into the Railway 2013 pre Orient in the JPT. One Step beyond came on and the whole place went mental.

After that game in the Railway was great. Whole pub singing, people standing on tables etc.

Have to agree pre & post the Orient game in the Railway was a fantastic atmosphere!

Agree re the Railway for the Orient game. Also, good memories of the pub in Cardiff after the play-off win (Prince of Wales??)

I remember being in Seymour's, aka DDV's, never made it to work the next day.

Random one Macclesfield away, lovely "Lounge"

Yep trying to order a beer when you have 'We hate Orient' in your ears at full volume was quite tricky!

It's very hard to beat the Green Man before both finals at Wembley. The actual atmosphere at the Crewe one was probably better. The weather was atrocious for the Wycombe one so hindered the atmosphere slightly, still great though.

Furthetmore, there was no kilted former managers in attendence at the Wycombe one :winking:

Remember having some great banter in The Trent Bridge Inn with Forest fans before the league match the season after Stanley went to play for them.

...I remember a good time in Hooters just before Forest away when were in the championship ! Not sure what makes it stand out ?

Rushden away 4-1 win the whole CS Crew,Train Crew, AAS, all others right on the ****. 30 aside football after the game in the street. Loved it

Away at Rotherham, at the running track ground, freezing cold day "up north", there was an old working man's type pub on a corner near the "ground".
Served good beer, proper open wood fires, lots of happy Shrimpers.
We won 2 nil, first goal after about 90seconds and missed by more than a few who stayed just too long at the pub.

The Railway after beating Stevenage last season to get to Wembley was pretty special. A few calls in sick the next day no doubt made by half of the pub.

Supporting Southend is fantastic!.
