Actually one of the "official" chants goes "Sh - Sh - Shabia" rather like "Sea-Sea-Seasiders". "Shabia" is how one pronounces "Xàbia" which is "Jávea" in Valenciano ... erm, at which point did you stop reading?!

One of my friends who I've converted to Southend comes from Spain (from La Coruna to be precise).

He never teaches me anything but swear words though...
