So the England Ladies team are playing at Colchester and its live on the TV......over 9,000 there.........now that must be the biggest crowd there since Elton john played live in the stadium, they did just mention that the league team get around 3,000, now that is one large family gathering.....very cosy

The English Womens team are well supported where ever they play. They deserve it, they're a good team. Where else in the world would you get good crowds for a female team. Well deserved though and have had bigger crowds watching them.

The ground was sold out apart from a few single seats dotted around the stadium, the full capacity is 10105 and there was 9644 actually in the ground to watch the game last night. I suspect there were some no shows due to traffic issues and the cold weather, the stadium car park and the park and ride were full long before kickoff, other areas on the industrial estates nearby were also full so some may have just gone home! People were coming in long after kick off apparently, it was an early 19.05 start which is always like to be a problem with big crowds. It is still not the biggest attendance for a football match at the ground though that was achieved when we played Norwich in league one in 2010 when 10064 packed into the WHCS. It made me laugh when the commentator kept saying how cold he was, yep it really is cold up there! The club have Little Mix playing there next Summer, tickets go on sale tomorrow no doubt there will be massive demand for it because the little kids love them!

Now THAT may be worth going to WHCS for, are you going CAP?
