Big Sol in the race!

Was my favourite from the start, but this is getting utterly ridiculous.

Why has this taken so bloody long.

Now that's a much more promising development, a youngish candidate with recent managerial experience of running a struggling EFL club and successfully avoiding relegation. He carries no baggage about past associations with the club and is very ambitious to succeed. Give him the job.

Ron going for a rotating managerial situation game by game?

Sol is the nearest we’ve come yet to someone who actually has some relevant & successful experience with our type of situation. I’d be happy with this if it happened..

FORMER England international Sol Campbell has been interviewed for the vacant managerial role at Southend United.

Looks like sky betting are not taking anymore bets on him

My heads spinning. Yesterday Adam Barrett was about to be named. Then the new poster today said Larsson is a done deal, according to his contact, and now Sol Campbell.

Would you have been a happy Macca fan when Sol was a completely inexperienced appointment less than a year ago?

No inside knowledge but I think this ones got legs. This would be a typical Ron appointment.
