To be honest though Ayrshire none of our left-backs have any pace whether they're currently fit or not! The difference with Barker is that he's an excellent defender whilst all our other left-backs are let downs in that department. Moving Barker to LB would allow us to keep Coughlan in (and he excels alongside a pacy centre-half to compliment him like Bilel) and re-introduce Mohsni, now to me that back 4 looks strong defensively. If we had a LB with any pace I'd be inclined to agree with you and presumably Mohsni would replace Coughlan but we don't so I'd like to see Barker at LB with Mohsni taking his place in the middle.

The bloke who played left back against Hereford (most of the game) was pretty quick!!

Yeah I'll give you that one....

Goes without saying though that despite playing very well back there we need Hall further up the pitch in terms of creativity.

Could be a tad pedantic here and point out we did score 4 with Hall at LB on Friday...

If fit,I would like to see him in central defence, with Barker moving to left back, which is our problem position.

That seems like madness. Barker is a class above at Centre Back. Why move him? Coughlan has done OK, but if Sturrock see's Mohsni as a better option, then it's back t the bench.
